About

Dog photography combines two of my greatest loves. I’ve been a dedicated photographer since I was fourteen, and I can’t imagine life without at least one pet dog.
I’ve spent many years working with dogs and reading about their unique brains, senses, perceptions, and behaviors. I apply that knowledge during each photo or video session to ensure the dog is relaxed and I can capture it perfectly.
In 2006, when I was living in Lakeland, Florida, I opened a studio called Top Dog Imaging. For many years, I specialized in dog photography, along with other services, including fine art reproduction and photo restoration.
In 2016, I visited a friend in Colorado and knew I had to live here. The climate, the scenery, the people, and the dog-friendly culture—who could resist? Within a year, my wife and I had made Colorado our home, and today we’re living in Longmont.
When I’m not photographing dogs, I’m working on my fine art photography, producing videos, or volunteering with our local makerspaces, Longmont Public Media and TinkerMill.
